Marco Polo Awesomely varied album (and thus too difficult to explain). Genre blending at its finest. The artist also programs some mean drums for Oceill too (his brother actually).

metalmuse22 Wow, what a great album that spans multiple genres. looking forward to future releases! Favorite track: Sad Old Earth (Feat. Kai Jægersen).
Can This Even Be Called Music?
Can This Even Be Called Music? thumbnail
Can This Even Be Called Music? an electronic music-tinged instrumental prog metal album. It’s very good and has a vast range of atmospheres and emotions to it, it’s not just riffs and breakdowns, but there’s a good diversity of sounds and instruments in there – mostly electronic. Check it out! Favorite track: Narrow Aisles Of Pain.

On this album you can hear what silly little things I have been working on for the past years. In its core, the album contains 3 different styles, metal, electronic and orchestral, and the six songs are all some sort of fusion of these genres. I hope you are entertained throughout the album.

The album is titled after a poem, also named 'Solitude', by Ella Wheeler Wilcox. The song titles are phrases taken from it.

Everything musical is made, from start to finish, by Joel Lindfors

I'd like to thank the group of musicians I tend to ask feedback for my work-in-progress -songs on.

I'd like to give special thanks to (in no particular order):
Alex Pryle for the album cover and for continued feedback and support.
Kai Jægersen for the solo on Sad Old Earth.
Jaakko Kortesharju for making me expand my compositional style and keeping me open minded for everything musical.
Anthony DiGiacomo for continued feedback and support.
Lauri Tervonen for continued feedback and support.
Emil Lamppu for continued feedback and support.

A thank you also goes to my bandmates from Oceill, Tapio Mikkola, Santeri Tammi, and my brother Axel Lindfors. Everything I write is either directly or indirectly influenced by them.
